CAPTURING TASTEFUL, CANDID MOMENTS
Victoria Greensmith Photography captures tasteful, candid moments, in a timeless editing style. She tells a story through a creative, relaxed and documentary perspective, whilst using both flash and natural light. Based in the UK. London, Sheffield, Manchester, Derbyshire, High Peak, North West.
I guess you could say I am not your average wedding photographer. My route into this world is not one many follow. I have never partaken in paid shoots in order to gain a portfolio, so the images you will see are all real. The first wedding I shot was a colleague and I never looked back from there. I have had 10 very sucessful years of being self-employed.
In my personal life I enjoy travelling all over the world, taking my street photography camera everywhere I go. (A Ricoh GR III for those photography buffs). My most recent trip was to Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia. My passion for photography started when I was 7 years old. My dad is English and my mum is Cypriot. And I travelled lots to Greece growing up. Every year, my mum would go to Boots to gift me a yellow Kodak disposable camera. I captured nature, city streets and locals; this is where my photography journey began.
I fell in love with wedding photography at the beginning of my experienced photography career. I started as a nightlife photographer focusing on candids at festivals and events. I was known for capturing the best unscripted moments and this is what propelled my career extremely quickly. Both events and weddings show love, passion and excitement so the switch was a no-brainer! After Covid I packed in nightlife to channel my energy into telling your story. During my long career my wedding photography has been featured in Vogue magazine (2025), Tatler (2022/24) and Morgan-Davies Bridal.
I now only capture weddings alongside food photography, as it keeps my creative juices flowing having different areas of my work. Some of you may notice this taste for food photography when I capture the details of your big day! Having this knowledge in many areas of photography means I am quick to adapt to lighting and weather changes. It also means I shoot new venues at ease.

LET'S CAPTURE YOUR LOVE STORY TOGETHER
I would describe myself as a documentary photographer with a hint of an editorial style, who uses both natural light and flash. I have a keen eye for capturing those special moments that most people will miss. Waiting for that loving hug, or moment of laughter is a talent of mine. Focusing on older guests is extremely important to me to preserve those memories.
I aim to showcase a story of the day. Be it taking images of exterior buildings, or capturing those close up details of the reception. No wedding or moment is ever the same, so these are hand picked to emphasise the album in the best way possible, be it colour or black and white. I take inspiration from retro film and French noir styles.
Everyone has different tastes, styles and levels of comfort. This is why it is so important to me that on our final call I get to know what you are both wanting to achieve from your day. Understanding your vision, style and needs is crucial to how I work. Some couples spend 10 minutes doing a couples shoot, some spend half an hour dotted through the day. This is totally your choice and whatever you choose I will accommodate. I will also be there to assist with ideas and poses. Art does not fit in a box, nor do people. Each day is tailored to your request.
